A land of art, and of taste

Mithila — the region spanning north Bihar — is known the world over for its Madhubani painting. Less known is what comes out of its kitchens: fox nuts roasted over open flame, mangoes and lemons pickled in mustard oil, sweets finished in ghee rendered slow and golden. We work directly with the families who still make it this way, and bring it to your door exactly as it's meant to taste.
